On the Settings screen of the Blink app for Android devices some settings appear that are not present on iOS devices.

In the Android System settings screen, under Blink Notification Settings you can find a setting for "Allow notification dot" as shown in the image below.

The notification dot indicates when you receive a notification from the Blink app.

When notifications are present, the dot appears layered on top of the Blink app icon.

After you view the notification, the dot is removed until you have a new notification.

On this same screen, the term "1 category deleted" indicates that a notification category was removed by developers since the last software update. This statement does not reflect user action.
