Electrical Shock Hazard: If your doorbell is hardwired, turn off power at the circuit breaker before proceeding.
Getting started
Before you proceed with installing the batteries, make sure that you have these items:
- Release key (included in original packaging).
- Three Energizer AA 1.5-volt lithium non-rechargeable batteries.

Installing the batteries
1. Remove your doorbell from the mounting plate
- Insert the release key into the bottom slot of your doorbell.
- Press firmly until it clicks.
- Pull doorbell from mounting plate.
2. Open the battery compartment
- Turn the doorbell over and locate the battery cover latch.
- Lift the latch to remove the battery cover.
- Set the cover aside.
3. Install the batteries
- Remove old batteries (if present).
- Insert three new Energizer AA 1.5-volt lithium non-rechargeable batteries.
- Ensure proper alignment of positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
4. Reassemble your doorbell
- Insert the tabs at the top of the back cover into the terminal screw slots.
- Press the bottom until the gray latch clicks.
- Align your doorbell with mounting plate.
- Press firmly until you hear a click.
5. Test functionality
- Restore circuit breaker power if applicable.
- Press the doorbell button to verify operation.
