How Can I Arm My System for Motion Detection?

When you first set up your Blink system, your system will be Disarmed by default.

To arm your system, tap on the button in the bottom center, to the right of where it says Disarmed. To see what this should look like, tap or mouse over the toggle on the image below.

You'll notice the text now says Armed and there are blue running icons next to each camera that successfully armed.

In this state, the camera will detect motion, record a short clip and you will receive a notification on your device.

You can disable an individual camera from arming by tapping the individual camera armingicon.
When the system is armed and motion is disabled for a particular camera, you will see the individual camera arming icon.

Your home screen will look similar to this:

In this state, your Front Door camera will detect motion and record clips while your Garage camera will not detect motion or record clips.

You can view saved clips, receive notification of new motion alerts, and set regions that do not respond to motion at all.
