Password Reset - Login screen
Password updates require you to re-log in on IFTTT and re-enable the BlinkSmartHome skill in Alexa (if applicable).
If you were recently logged out of Blink, here is how to sign back in.
- From the Login screen, tap the Email field, and enter the email address associated with your Blink account.
- Tap the Password field.
- Tap Forgot password?
- When prompted, tap OK to continue.
- From the Verification Screen, enter the verification code received via text message or email, and tap Verify.
Note: If you don't receive a code, wait 90 seconds until the Resend code button appears and tap it to generate a new one. - On the Change Password screen, create the new password following the requirements listed on the screen and, when ready, tap Change Password.
- From the Login screen, enter your email address and the new password to access your account.
Password Reset - Account settings
- On the Home screen, tap Settings, and select Account and Privacy.
- Tap Account Management.
- Tap Password.
- When prompted, tap OK to continue.
- From the Verification Screen enter the verification code received via text message or email, and tap Verify.
Note: If you don't receive a code, wait 90 seconds until the Resend code button appears and tap it to generate a new one. - On the Change Password screen, create the new password following the requirements listed on the screen and, when ready, tap Change Password.
- From the Login screen, enter your email address and the new password to access your account.
