We prioritise your privacy whilst using your location data to unlock the full potential of your Blink devices. Your location helps us provide access to region-specific features and AI-powered functionality, whilst assisting in maintaining compliance with local regulations.
We'll request your location during important steps like:
- New customers:
- Account creation
- Existing customers:
- Setting up new devices
- Purchasing subscriptions
- Linking your account to Amazon
Updating your location
You can update your address anytime in your Blink app account settings.
Note: When adding a new device to your account, you'll be prompted to confirm your location.
To edit your existing location:
- From the Home Screen, tap Settings.
- Tap Device and System Settings.
- Tap Address.
- Tap Edit Address.
- Either manually enter your address, or select Use my current location.
Note: You may be prompted to grant app permissions to access your location and verify the address on your account. - After entering and verifying your address, tap Confirm Address.
- When prompted, enter a Location Name and tap Save Location.
