Effective October 8, 2025, Blink is making changes to subscription plans. For customers in the United States (U.S.), this includes an increase to subscription pricing. Below is an overview of the changes:
Why is Blink increasing subscription prices?
We’re always considering how we can add more value for our customers and improve their Blink experience. For the first time since 2021, we’re updating the price of the Blink subscription plans to reflect the benefits and improved features we’ve added, such as Moments, Person and Vehicle Detection. We believe that Blink subscriptions offer great value to our customers, and we are focused on bringing more features to these plans.

How was I notified of the subscription price increase?
On September 8, 2025, we emailed U.S. customers who purchased a Blink Subscription Plan (Basic or Plus) through Blink.com or Amazon.com. The subscription price change email was sent to your Amazon account email address if you purchased but haven't activated your Amazon.com plan. For all other customers (Blink.com purchases or active Amazon.com subscriptions), the email was sent to your Blink account email address.
I didn't receive the email about increased subscription prices.
If you're in the U.S. and didn't receive the September 8, 2025, price change email, please check your spam/junk folder and verify that your email address is up-to-date in your account settings.
For Blink.com purchases, to confirm your Blink account email address:
- Open the Blink app and tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Account and Privacy.
- Tap Email to view or update the email address associated with your Blink account.
For Amazon.com purchases, to confirm your Amazon account email address:
- From the Amazon app, tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation menu.
- Tap Account.
- Under Account Settings, tap Login & security.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code you received, then tap Verify.
When will the new subscription prices take effect?
For customers in the U.S., the updated pricing will take effect on your next renewal date on or after October 8, 2025.
Can I lock in my current pricing?
Yes, if you're a customer in the U.S., from September 8, 2025 to October 7, 2025, you can lock in current pricing by purchasing a 1-, 2-, or 3-year Plus Plan Subscription on Blink.com or Amazon.com. After October 8, 2025, all new subscriptions will be at the new price.
To lock in current pricing, visit the same channel (Blink.com or Amazon.com) where you originally purchased your subscription.
To verify where your subscription was purchased:
- Open the Blink app and tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Blink Subscription Plans.
- Note: This option is only visible to current subscribers.
- From the Blink Subscription Plans screen, you'll find information about your subscription, including the channel through which it was purchased.
How can I manage my plan and view my next renewal date?
You can easily manage your subscription on the website where you purchased it (Blink.com or Amazon.com). There, you can view a list of your active, canceled, and expired subscriptions. You can also view subscription information like renewal date and price, once your Subscription Plan starts.
To manage your plan and view your next renewal date:
- Open the Blink app and tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.
- Select Blink Subscription Plans.
- Note: This option is only visible to current subscribers.
- From the Blink Subscription Plans screen, under Subscription Channel, you can view your next billing cycle and end date.
I have a no-cost trial. How will the price increase affect me?
The 30-day no-cost trial of the Blink Subscription Plus Plan will stay the same for new U.S. customers. If you purchase a subscription plan during a no-cost trial, you will not be charged until your trial ends and your subscription becomes active.
Your subscription becomes active when:
- Purchased on Blink.com: Your 30-day no-cost trial has ended.
- Purchased on Amazon.com: Your 30-day no-cost trial has ended, you have linked your Blink and Amazon accounts, and attached a device to your account (attaching a device is only required for Basic Plans, no action is required for Plus Plans).
If your subscription becomes active before October 8, 2025, you'll be billed at the current price for your initial subscription period (monthly or annual), then move to the new price on your next renewal date. If your subscription becomes active on or after October 8, 2025, you'll be billed at the new price.
Note: If your subscription was purchased after September 8th, 2025, price increase information was provided at checkout.
