Getting started

Before you proceed with installing the batteries, make sure that you have these items:

• Release key (included in original packaging).
• Three Energizer AA 1.5-volt lithium non-rechargeable batteries.

For a replacement release key, contact Blink Support.

Installing the batteries

1. Remove your Battery Doorbell 2K+ from the mounting plate

1. Insert the release key into the bottom slot of your doorbell.
2. Press firmly until it clicks.
3. Pull the Battery Doorbell 2K+ from mounting plate.

2. Open the battery compartment

1. Turn the Battery Doorbell 2K+ over and locate the battery cover latch.
2. Lift the latch to remove the battery cover.
3. Set the cover aside.

3. Install the batteries

1. Remove old batteries (if present).
2. Insert three new Energizer AA 1.5-volt lithium non-rechargeable batteries.
3. Ensure proper alignment of positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.

4. Reassemble your doorbell

1. Insert the tabs at the top of the back cover into the terminal screw slots.
2. Press the bottom until the latch clicks.
3. Align your Battery Doorbell 2K+ with mounting plate.
4. Press firmly until you hear a click.

5. Test functionality

1. Restore circuit breaker power if applicable.
2. Press the doorbell button to verify operation.
