Mounting your camera
- Detach the camera from the base by carefully pulling them apart in opposite directions.
- Hold the base in your palm and, applying gentle pressure, rotate the base's top cover anticlockwise to separate it from the mounting plate.
- Secure the mounting plate to the wall using the provided screws (when mounting on drywall or soft surface).
- Reattach the base's top cover by positioning it over the mounting plate and twisting clockwise until locked.
- Once the base is securely in place, press the Mini 2K+ onto the mounting point until it clicks into place.
Outdoor and ceiling mounting
For outdoor installation, use the Blink Weather-Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately or as part of a bundle), which includes a mounting kit with screws, anchors and cable clips. Secure it to a wall and then plug it into an outdoor-rated socket.
When mounting your Mini 2K+ on a ceiling or overhead surface, you may need to flip the camera's video orientation. Here's how:
- From the Home screen, tap the More (...) button on your Mini Camera thumbnail.
- Tap Device Settings.
- Tap Video and Photo Settings.
- Toggle Flip Video to turn it on.
