Getting started
If you’re new to Blink, begin by downloading the Blink app and creating your account . Once you’ve completed these steps, you can proceed with setting up your accessory.
Setting up and installing Blink Solaris

Once your Sync Module and camera have been set up, you can proceed with setting up Solaris in the Blink app.
- From the Home screen, tap the + icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Solaris Battery Pack from the list of devices.
- Tap the camera you'd like to use Blink Solaris with, then tap Connect to Camera from the list.
- If you don't have a compatible camera set up yet, select Install New Camera and follow the in-app prompts.
- If your camera has batteries, remove the back cover and AA batteries from your Blink Outdoor 2K+ or Outdoor 4 camera. Set the AA batteries aside, as they’re no longer needed once Blink Solaris is connected. Tap Continue .

Tighten the screw in the middle of Blink Solaris and ensure the battery pack fits snugly, then tap Continue .
- Place the back cover of the camera onto the exposed back of the battery pack. If the LED on the front of the camera doesn’t blink within 30 seconds, check the connection between the battery pack and the camera, then tap Finish . To view mounting instructions in the Blink app, tap See Mounting Instructions .
- Tap Complete Setup .
