Getting started

Blink Outdoor 2K+ camera offers a variety of mounting options. You can install it on walls, ceilings or flat surfaces to find the best view of your area.

Your Outdoor 2K+ camera includes:

• Standard mounting bracket
• Opening tool/right-angle adapter
• 2 mounting screws

Note: This mounting bracket is compatible with both the Outdoor 2K+ and Outdoor 4 cameras.

Before mounting your Outdoor 2K+, check these placement tips:

• Keep your camera within range of your Sync Module.
• Mount the camera up to 10 feet (3 m) high, pointing at your target area.
• Position to detect side-to-side motion, which is best for triggering alerts.

Mounting your camera on a wall or post

1. Attach the mounting plate to the mounting surface using the provided screws. 
2. Once the base is securely in place, attach the camera onto the mount until it clicks. 
3. Adjust the camera angle by gently swivelling it on the mount.

When your camera is mounted, use the Blink app to create a thumbnail or enter Live View to check the camera’s position.

Mounting your camera on a ceiling, ledge or eaves

Use the right-angle adapter to mount Outdoor 2K+ on a ceiling, ledge or eaves by following these steps.

1. Attach the mounting plate to the mounting surface using the provided screws.
2. Attach the right-angle adapter to the back of the camera until it clicks.
3. Snap the right-angle adapter onto the mount until it clicks.
4. Adjust the camera angle by gently swivelling it on the mount.
