Alexa: Live View and Two-Way Audio

With Alexa voice commands, you can view the live feed from your Blink cameras on compatible Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Fire TV, and Fire Tablet devices.

Starting a Live View

To start a live view from your Blink camera, simply say "Alexa, show [camera name]." To stop the live view, say "Alexa, stop," "Alexa, end," "Alexa, exit," "Alexa, go home," or "Alexa, hide [camera name]." Please note that these commands only work with compatible Alexa-enabled screen devices and the live view will last for 5 minutes.

Starting a Multi-camera Live View

If you have multiple Blink cameras or you have created a Smart Home Group for Alexa, you can start a live view that shows all of them by saying "Alexa, show my cameras or group name."  Compatible devices (Echo Show 8, 10 and 15) with 2 or more cameras will display a split-screen view of all the cameras at once. Currently, this feature is available in the US, with support for other countries coming soon.

Two-Way Audio

For Blink Video Doorbell users, you can use your Alexa-enabled devices to answer the door and have two-way audio conversations with visitors. To initiate a two-way audio conversation, say "Alexa, talk to [Blink Video Doorbell]," "Alexa, answer [Blink Video Doorbell]," or "Alexa, respond to [Blink Video Doorbell]." To end the conversation, simply say "Alexa, stop."
