Changing Your Blink Account Password

Note: If the phone number associated with your Blink account has changed or is inaccessible, contact Blink support for help.

Password Reset - Login screen

Note: Password updates require you to re-log in on IFTTT and re-enable the Blink SmartHome skill in Alexa (if applicable).

If you were recently logged out of Blink, here is how to sign back in.

  1. From the Sign In screen, tap the question mark icon  in the upper-right corner.
  2. Tap Forgot your password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your Blink account, and when prompted tap OK.
  4. Enter the verification code received via text message or email, and tap Verify Code.
    • If you do not receive a code, the Resend Code button will appear after 90 seconds. Tap it to request a new one.
  5. From the Change Password screen, create the new password following the requirements listed on the screen and, when ready, tap Change Password.
  6. Once you have reset your password, you will be redirected to the Sign In screen.

Password Reset - Account settings

  1. On the Home screen, tap Settings, and select Account and Privacy.
  2. Tap Account Management.
  3. Tap Password.
  4. When prompted, tap OK to continue.
  5. From the Verification Screen enter the verification code received via text message or email, and tap Verify.
    Note: If you don't receive a code, wait 90 seconds until the Resend code button appears and tap it to generate a new one.
  6. On the Change Password screen, create the new password following the requirements listed on the screen and, when ready, tap Change Password.
  7. From the Login screen, enter your email address and the new password to access your account.
