Use this article for understanding how to share or save your motion clips using the Blink app.
These instructions work for any clip that you can view in the Clips section of the app.
Sharing clips
- From your home screen, tap Clips
at the bottom.
- In your list of clips, choose the clip you want to share by tapping it. The clip plays automatically.
- Tap the video. It will dim and an actions overlay appears. You can Pause the video if you'd like.
- Follow these steps depending on your mobile device:

iOS Share icon: Tap
in the upper left corner. More options will appear for sharing your clip.

Android Share icon: Tap
in the upper left corner. More options will appear for sharing your clip.

- From the share menu, you can send the clip to a contact either via email or a messaging app.
Saving clips
- From your home screen, tap Clips
at the bottom.
- Tap the clip you want to save. The clip plays automatically.
- Tap the video. It will dim and an actions overlay appears. You can Pause the video if you'd like.
- Follow these steps depending on your mobile device:

iOS Save video button: Tap Share
and then tap Save Video
. It will save to the Camera Roll by default.

Android download button: Tap
in the upper left corner. It will save to the Videos folder by default.

iOS Save video button: Tap Share
Note for iOS users: The first time you try to save a file, a message appears to grant the Blink app access to your photos. Tap OK to allow access for the Blink app to save files on your device.
