Blink Subscription Video Storage Policy

Caution: Once you delete a clip, it is permanently erased from Blink’s servers and cannot be recovered by Blink Support.

With a Blink plan, you can record and save video clips and photos to the cloud and view them in the Blink app anytime. Cloud clips are stored for up to 60 days.

There are several Blink plans to choose from:

  • Basic ai1 and basic plans cover one eligible camera.
  • Plus ai1 and plus plans cover all eligible cameras on your account.

When you set up a compatible Blink camera or Video Doorbell, you receive a no-cost trial of the plus ai1 or plus plan. Once your trial ends, you can purchase a plan through Blink.com2 or Amazon to continue receiving cloud storage and other plan features.

1Ai plans are only available to customers in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, and are not available in Illinois due to state-specific legislation.
2Blink.com is available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Ireland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

Which cameras require a plan for cloud storage?

Most Blink cameras require a Blink plan to save clips to the cloud. If you do not have a plan, you can still save clips by setting up local storage with a compatible Sync Module:

  • Sync Module 2 with a USB drive.
  • Sync Module XR or XR+ with a microSD card.

Sync Module Core does not support local storage.
