How can I access, view and delete my cloud-stored recordings?

Caution: Once you delete a clip, it is permanently erased from Blink’s servers and cannot be recovered by Blink Support.

On the Blink App, you can access, download, or manually delete your cloud-stored recordings. You can exercise your right to access your video recordings in the Blink App. Learn more about deleting motion clips.

Blink account information such as your account email and phone number are found on the Account and Privacy screen of the Blink app (Home Screen > Settings > Account and Privacy).

Blink offers two methods to request a copy of your personal data:

  1. To download a copy of your personal data from the Blink app, go to Settings > Account and Privacy > Manage Your Data > Download Personal Data > Submit Request > Confirm Request.
  2. You can also submit your request using the Data Privacy Request form. You will need access to your Blink account to verify your request. If you cannot access your account, please contact Customer Service.

The following information is required on submission of the Data Privacy Request form:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Location (Country)
  • Subject of your Request
  • Data Requested (Access My Data or Delete My Data)

For Data Privacy Requests related to your Blink Account, the email and phone number that your Blink account is registered to must be included in the request. If you have contacted Blink support, the data associated with those interactions can only be found if you include the contact details used during those interactions within the request.

How can I transfer my device data to third parties? (EU Only)

How do I delete my account and my data?

Caution: Once a Blink account is deleted, all clips stored in Cloud Storage will be permanently erased, and the connected devices will be removed. Blink Support cannot restore devices, clips, or previously deleted accounts.

To delete your account and all of its data, go to the Home Screen > Settings > Account and Privacy > Account Management > Delete Account. Learn more about deleting your Blink account.

If you accidentally delete your Blink account, you’ll have to create a new account.

You can submit a deletion request using the Data Privacy Request form. Tap Submit when you've completed the form.

Can I recover my data after deleting my account?

No, when you delete your account, all data associated with it is immediately and permanently deleted from our servers and cannot be recovered. Deletions cannot be undone by anyone, no matter the circumstances.
