Understanding the LEDs on your Sync Module

The LED indicators on the Sync Module XR, Sync Module 2, and Sync Module (1st Gen) are located on the top of the device. Below is a chart explaining the meanings of the LED indicators, along with corresponding links to relevant support articles for troubleshooting. 

Sync Module XR

Light Pattern Description 
Sync Module XR with a solid blue LED LED: Solid blue
Activity: Sync Module is starting up.
Sync Module XR with a blinking blue and solid green LED LED: Blinking blue, solid green
Activity: Sync Module is in pairing mode and ready to be set up.
Sync Module XR with a solid blue and blinking green LED LED: Solid blue, blinking green
Activity: Sync Module has fallen offline and is attempting to reconnect to the previous network.
Sync Module XR with a solid red LED LED: Solid red
Activity: Sync Module is unable to connect to your network, or the entered Wi-Fi password may be incorrect.
Sync Module XR with a solid blue and green LED LED: Solid blue, solid green
Activity: Sync Module is online and connected to your network.
Sync Module XR with a solid blue and green LED LED: None
Activity: Sync Module is not plugged into an outlet, or there’s a power issue.

Sync Module (1st Gen) / Sync Module 2

Light Pattern Description 
Sync Module with a solid blue LED LED: Solid blue
Activity: Sync Module is starting up.
Sync Module with a blinking blue and solid green LED LED: Blinking blue, solid green
Activity: Sync Module is in pairing mode and ready to be set up.
Sync Module with a solid blue and blinking green LED LED: Solid blue, blinking green
