Mini 2K+ is an indoor plug-in camera that can also be used outdoors when paired with the Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter (sold separately).
Some key features include up to 2K (2560 x 1440) video resolution for improved image quality, enhanced dynamic range and built-in spotlight for challenging lighting conditions and built-in siren. Smart Detection capabilities are available when paired with a Blink Subscription Plan or no-cost trial.
Additional features include:
- Night Vision: Enhanced color performance in low light.
- Audio: Two-way talk with echo prevention and noise cancellation.
- Siren: Manually activated siren.
- Vehicle Detection: Identify vehicles in your camera's field of view (with a Blink Subscription Plan or no-cost trial).
- 4x zoom: Magnify your view up to 4 times to reveal fine details.
- Chime: Works as a chime for Video Doorbell when added to the same system.
Getting started
If you're new to Blink, begin by downloading the Blink app and creating your account. Once you have completed these steps, you can proceed with setting up your Mini 2K+.
Setting up your Mini 2K+
- From the Blink app Home Screen, tap the + icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Mini Cameras.
- Scan the QR code on the back of the device, or tap Enter Serial Manually.
- Choose an existing system or create a new one, then tap Continue.
- To add Mini 2K+ to an existing system, select the system name, then tap Continue.
- To create a new system, tap Create New System, tap Continue, enter a name for your system, and tap Continue.
Note: To use your Mini 2K+ as a doorbell chime, add it to the same system as your Blink Video Doorbell.
- Plug your Mini camera into an outlet using either the provided power supply with USB-C cable or the Blink Weather Resistant Power Adapter.
- When the camera displays both a blinking blue and solid green light, tap Discover Device.
- You will be prompted to join the temporary Wi-Fi network ‘BLINK-xxxx’ (where ‘xxxx’ is the last four digits of your cameras serial number). Tap Join.
- Select your home Wi-Fi network, enter the password, then tap Join.
- Note: You'll have the option to securely save your Wi-Fi password to your Blink account for convenient access later. You can update or delete saved passwords by visiting Settings > Account & Privacy > Saved Passwords.
- To complete setup, tap Done.
Your Mini 2K+ appears on the Home Screen under your selected system with the device serial number as an auto-generated name. To rename it, visit Setting your camera name and thumbnail.
