New! The Blink Mini is available in an attractive matte black color.

The Blink Mini is an indoor, plug-in, HD security camera with two-way talk and infrared night vision that is connected to you through the Blink app. You can monitor the inside of your home from anywhere, day or night.

New to the US and CA, use your Mini as a plug-in chime for the Blink Video Doorbell. Simply add the Mini to a system with a Blink Video Doorbell and connect them through Doorbell Settings.

Blink Mini also includes two video storage options; subscription-based cloud storage, or Local Storage with the Blink Sync Module 2.

The Blink Mini is lightweight and versatile. It never needs batteries, and does not need a Sync Module to operate or provide features.

New! (US and CA) You can add the Mini to any system with a Blink Video Doorbell and have the doorbell chime play through the Mini. This way you can be alerted to visitors when you are not near your phone, or it is turned off. Click to learn about using your Mini camera as a chime.

Add your Mini camera to any system (including Mini or Video Doorbell cameras) for group arm, disarm, and scheduling features.

Does Mini require a Sync module to work?

No, Mini just requires 5 volt, 1amp, standard USB power through the included adapter, and an always-on Wi-Fi internet connection. Mini does not need a sync module. However, the Mini can be added to an existing system for shared scheduling. Add Mini to a doorbell system and it can act as a chime for the doorbell.

Yes, Mini can be added to any Blink System, even the Blink Video Doorbell.

How do I arm my Mini to record motion?

Once your Mini is set up, you can Arm and Disarm it from the Blink app Home screen. Mini camera settings allow you to control if clips are saved, when you are notified, and what kinds of events create a notification. Click below for more information.

Is Mini Alexa compatible?

Yes, you can view live streams, playback motion clips, and arm/disarm your camera when you enable the Blink SmartHome skill. Click to learn about Alexa integration.

How does the subscription plan work?

In addition to the live view and motion alert features that come with every Blink Mini, you can choose to record and store video clips conveniently in the cloud with the Blink Subscription Plan. Learn more about subscriptions

When you are within the last 30 days of your trial period, you will see a banner on the home screen of your app that shows the remaining days of your trial period. Additionally, you will receive an email regarding the remaining days of your trial, with links to assist you with purchasing a subscription plan.

Do I get a trial of the subscription plan?

Yes, new customers (as of April 16, 2020) automatically receive a 30 day trial of the Plus plan when they set up a new Blink Mini camera. The Plus plan covers all eligible devices on your account. Eligible devices are the Blink Video Doorbell, Indoor (gen 2), Outdoor, and Mini.

What does the subscription plan include?

Your subscription plan provides cloud storage to save video clips and Live Views.

Without a subscription plan or other storage option, the Mini can send you motion alerts and you can use Live View without saving any clips.

How does local storage work?

You can purchase the Blink Sync Module 2 and insert a USB flash drive (sold separately) to record and store video for later viewing in the Blink app or directly from the flash drive when you plug it into your computer or other device. To learn more, visit the Amazon Sync Module 2 purchase page.

When will local storage be available?

The Blink Sync Module 2 is available now. When your Mini is not part of a Blink Subscription or trial, and a recognized USB drive is inserted into the Sync Module 2, your motion clips automatically begin saving to the USB drive.

The USB drive must be between 1GB and 256 GB in size with at least 370 Mb of space available, and ExFAT formatting is suggested. If the USB drive is not compatible, the Blink app asks if you would like to reformat the drive.

Are my other cameras compatible with the local storage functionality?

In addition to Blink Mini, the new Blink Indoor (gen 2) and Outdoor cameras also support local storage on the Sync Module 2. Click to learn more about Local Storage.

Can I extend my Live View sessions since Mini is powered by a USB cable?

Yes! Blink Subscription Plans enable many premium features including Extended Live View (Beta) - exclusively for Blink Mini cameras. Extended Live View provides images and sound directly from a Mini to the Blink app for 90 minutes with a single tap. Regular Live View sessions with a subscription plan are five minutes long.

When your Mini camera is not part of a Blink Subscription Plan, the Live View sessions are 60 seconds long. They can be extended to five minutes by tapping "Continue" when it appears every 60 seconds.

When using an Alexa compatible device, the Live View session is five minutes by default.
