You can manage multiple systems from a single account using the Blink app, making it easy to monitor specific areas of your home or different properties. You can organize systems by naming them based on their location or purpose, such as "Home," "Office," or "Vacation House."
What is a Blink System?
A Blink system is a combination of one or more Blink devices managed through the Blink app. Systems are organized as tabs at the top of the Blink app's home screen. You can switch between systems by tapping on the desired tab.
To create a new system, you’ll need to add one of the supported Blink devices to your account. These devices are:
- Sync Module 2
- Sync Module XR
- Blink Video Doorbell
- Blink Mini
- Blink Mini 2
- Blink Wired Floodlight Camera
For step-by-step setup instructions, tap on the links above. All Blink wireless cameras require a Blink Sync Module to create a system. The Sync Module acts as a hub for communication and management of the devices. Each Sync Module can support up to 10 cameras in a single system. If you need to add more cameras, you can create additional more systems by adding additional Sync Modules to your account.
Adding Multiple Systems to Your Account
To create a new system, open the Blink app, tap the + icon, and select the device you want to add. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup. Make sure to name the system for easy identification. Refer to the device setup links provided above for detailed guidance.
Managing Systems Efficiently
Once multiple systems are set up, you can streamline monitoring by grouping the cameras logically according to your needs. You can swipe across the system names at the top of the app's Home screen to select and view specific setups.
Blink's ability to manage multiple systems ensures you can monitor and protect what matters most, no matter where you are. Whether you're adding more cameras, setting up new Sync Modules, or grouping independent devices, Blink's flexibility makes it easy to stay connected and secure.
