Changing Cameras Covered in a Basic Subscription Plan

Blink Video Doorbell, Mini, Indoor, and Outdoor cameras are eligible for Basic Subscription Plans which allows you to record and store events for a single Blink device on your account. Click here to learn more about Subscription Plans and choosing the plan that's right for you.

After you have attached a Basic Subscription Plan to a single camera or video doorbell, you can change that camera or video doorbell to another to be covered by that same plan. If you delete a camera or video doorbell covered by a Basic Plan, you can also attach a replacement camera or video doorbell to be covered by that plan. When you delete a camera or video doorbell attached to a Basic Plan, that plan is paused until another camera or video doorbell is attached. At any time you have the option to change which eligible camera or video doorbell from within a linked Blink account is covered by a Basic Subscription Plan.

How to attach a Basic Subscription Plan to a different device in the Blink App

You can attach a Basic Subscription Plan to a different device within the Blink app or using the Your Memberships & Subscriptions page.

1. Tap the Account icon at the bottom of your screen. Then select Blink Plan Attached which will open the Your Memberships & Subscriptions page.


2. On the Your Memberships & Subscriptions page, tap the "Change device" button for the plan you want to change.


3. You will then see your currently attached device for that plan which you can tap to change.


4. Next, you will see additional devices available that can be covered by that plan. Select a device that shows "No Blink Plan".


5. The new device will then appear in the Attach plan screen and tap the Change location and device button to attach it to your plan.

You will then be taken back to the Your Memberships & Subscriptions page.


How to attach a Basic Subscription Plan to a different device on Your Memberships & Subscriptions

1. On Amazon.com visit Your Memberships & Subscriptions to manage all of your subscriptions.

2. Select your "Blink Basic Plan" and then click on the Change device button.


3. Then select another eligible camera or video doorbell and click on the Change location and device button.


The new camera or video doorbell will then be covered by your Basic Subscription Plan.


Follow these steps to attach a Basic Plan to a different device that has replaced a deleted camera or video doorbell.

1. Visit the Your Memberships & Subscriptions page.

2. Select your "Blink Basic Plan" and then click on the Change device button.


3. Next select the new device that will replace your deleted camera or video doorbell. Then click on the Attach plan to this device button.


The replacement camera or video doorbell will then be covered by your Basic Subscription Plan.
