Unlinking Your Blink and Amazon Accounts

Linking your Blink and Amazon accounts lets you manage all of your Blink plans in one place. Linking accounts is required to activate plans purchased on Amazon. To use a plan purchased on Blink.com, you don't have to link your Amazon and Blink accounts. However, paid and active plus ai or basic ai1 annual plans include 20% off Blink hardware2. All other paid plans include 10% off. You can also unlink your Amazon and Blink accounts at any time.

1Ai plans are only available to customers in the United States, and are not available in Illinois due to state-specific legislation. Plans auto-renew until you cancel. Learn more about Blink plans.
2Your discount is automatically applied at checkout on Amazon. Please allow up to 24 hours after annual ai plan activation for the discount to be available for use. The no-cost trial is not eligible for the discount. Terms and conditions apply.

When you unlink your Blink and Amazon accounts:

  • If the plan was purchased through Amazon, your plan will pause. Refunds are provided to customers with active (and paid) plans that remain paused for 12 or more months.
  • If the plan was purchased through Blink.com, your plan will not be paused, but you would lose the Blink plan discount.

If you prefer to save clips only to local storage for a certain camera or Video Doorbell and don't want it covered by a Basic plan, you must unlink your accounts for that camera or Video Doorbell to be removed from your plan by customer service.

  1. Tap Settings at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Select Account and Privacy.
  3. Tap Amazon Account Linking.
  4. Tap Unlink Accounts at the bottom of the screen.
  5. You will then get the warning, "Unlinking will pause your plan." Select Continue to proceed.
  6. Enter your Blink password and tap Unlink

Your Blink and Amazon accounts are now unlinked. You can link both accounts again or return to the Account screen.
