Mini 2K+ solid red light
A solid red light on your Mini 2K+ usually indicates a Wi-Fi connection issue.
If the issue happens during setup:
Verify the Wi-Fi password

If the issue happens after the setup:
Reboot the router
- Unplug the router power cable.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Reconnect power cable.
Check the signal strength
- Tap the More (...) button on your Mini 2K+ thumbnail in the Blink app Home screen.
- Tap Device Settings.
- Tap General Settings.
- Verify there is a strong connection to Wi-Fi.

Resetting your Mini 2K+ camera
In some instances, such as when you delete your camera and cannot add it back to your account, you may need to reset your Mini 2K+ camera. To reset:
- Locate the reset button on the bottom of the device.
- Press and hold the reset button for five seconds.
- Once reset, you’ll need to set up the camera again in the Blink app.

Mini 2K+ motion detection issues
If your Mini 2K+ isn’t detecting motion, check the following possible causes and solutions:

Check if your system is armed.
Your system must be armed to record motion events. Learn how to arm your Blink system. -
Verify whether Motion Detection has been enabled.

Check your Wi-Fi connection.

Adjust the sensitivity settings.

Improving Mini 2K+ video quality
To improve the video quality of your Mini 2K+ camera:

Check resolution settings
Verify you’re using the best resolution (2560 x 1440):- Open the Blink app and tap the More (...) button on the camera thumbnail from the Home screen.
- Select Device Settings, then Video and Photo Settings.
- Tap Video Quality and choose your preferred resolution.
Note: High-speed internet is required with these minimum upload speeds for each resolution:- Best (2K) - 6 Mbps
- Standard (1080p) - 3 Mbps
- Saver (720p) - 2 Mbps

Clean the lens
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstruction. -
Adjust placement
Avoid directing the camera at bright light sources.

If you’re experiencing night vision issues:

Check IR settings
Verify Night Vision is set to Auto in camera settings. -

Adjust camera position to reduce glare and optimise night vision coverage.
Updating the camera thumbnail
To manually update your Mini 2K+ camera thumbnail:
- Open the Blink app and tap the More (...) button on your camera thumbnail.
- Tap Refresh Thumbnail.

Turning the Siren on or off
To turn the Siren ON:
Note: The Siren requires manual activation and won’t activate automatically.
- Open the Blink app and tap the play icon on your Mini 2K+ thumbnail to start a live view.
- Tap the More (...) button, then tap Siren On.
Note: A warning message will state the Siren is loud and will sound for 30 seconds if not manually deactivated. If you wish to proceed, tap Turn On Siren.
To turn it OFF:
- When in Live View, tap Siren Off.
Using Mini 2K+ as a chime for Blink Video Doorbell
To set up your Mini 2K+ as a chime for your Blink Video Doorbell, ensure both devices are on the same Blink system.
- Open the Blink app and tap the More (...) button on your Video Doorbell thumbnail.
- Tap Device Settings.
- Tap Doorbell and Chime Settings.
- Tap Use Blink Mini Camera as a Chime.
- Select the Mini camera to use as a chime and tap Save.
